VOLUNTEER NEEDS
Emmanuel Baptist Church is on a mission to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to our mission field and to make disciples. In order to continue ministry, we depend on volunteers giving their time and talents in many different areas both on and off campus. Below are many of the openings we currently have across many of the ministries at EBC.

Wednesday Night Substitute
Willing to be called at a moment’s notice to fill in for a regular Wednesday night volunteer.

PRESCHOOL MINISTRY
Sunday Morning Classroom Assistant (8:30 a.m.)
This could be every Sunday or every other Sunday.
Background check required.

ELEMENTARY MINISTRY
Sunday Morning Assistant Leader
Join a rotating team of leaders who serve in both the 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. services on their given Sunday morning. The leader should be able to (or willing to learn to) lead from the stage and assist the ministry leader with teaching and worship. This leader should also be willing to provide support to other volunteers during the services.

ELEMENTARY MINISTRY
Sunday Morning Volunteer (8:30 a.m.)
Be available to serve one or more Sundays of the month at the 8:30 a.m. service in the Kid’s Ministry building. Arrive at least 15 minutes before service begins. Worship with the children, help them pay attention during the lesson, and meet their needs. Background Check required.

ELEMENTARY MINISTRY
Sunday Morning Volunteer (10:00 a.m.)
Be available to serve one or more Sundays of the month at the 10:00 a.m. service in the Kid’s Ministry building. Arrive at least 15 minutes before service begins. Worship with the children, help them pay attention during the lesson, and meet their needs. Background Check required.
Background check required. Openings are available for every 5th Sunday at the 9:30 service as well.

Sunday Evening 1st Grade Small Group Helper
Help the 1st Grade Small Group leader every Sunday evening during the semester at 5:00 p.m. by offering assistance with the lesson, activities, snack time, and classroom management. Small Group leaders and helpers have a unique position to build relationships with the kids in their care to better disciple them and teach them God’s Word.

Sunday Evening 2nd & 3rd Grades Small Group Helper
Help the 2nd & 3rd Grades Small Group leader every Sunday evening during the semester at 5:00 p.m. by offering assistance with the lesson, activities, snack time, and classroom management. Small Group leaders and helpers have a unique position to build relationships with the kids in their care to better disciple them and teach them God’s Word.

Sunday Evening One-on-One Buddy
Needing a lady to be a one-on-one buddy with a young child every Sunday evening during class.

Be able to lead the 1st Grade Small Group class each Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. by preparing activities, presenting the lesson, and engaging with them throughout the evening. Small Group leaders and helpers have a unique position to build relationships with the kids in their care to better disciple them and teach them God’s Word.
