As humans, we can, at times, become nearsighted. We get consumed by what is right in front of us. Our world is only as big as conversations happening on the screen in our hands. Our routines hold us captive, and we go through life on “repeat.” This is true in our lives, and this is WAY truer in our faith.

Because as humans, we can, at times, become nearsighted in our view of God. We forget that there is a God who is eternal. We lose sight of God’s plan, missing the “way-more-than-we-could-possibly-imagine” future God has for the world and for us. But, it doesn’t have to be this way.

The truth is that God, the eternal, unchanging, all-powerful, gracious, loving God makes Himself known to us. We just have to WANT to know Him.

Schedule of the Retreat

February 24-26

Friday, February 24: Student drop off/check-in is from 5pm-5:30pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church
Departing for camp at 6:00-6:15

Saturday, February 25: All day at camp

Sunday, February 26: Returning to church between 4:00-5:00 p.m. for normal student activities. Parents can pick students up between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m.

Meals Provided

Friday Evening (2/24) – snacks only (no dinner provided)

Saturday (2/25) – breakfast, lunch, dinner

Sunday (2/26) – breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack (no dinner provided)

Retreat Cost

$50 per student, additional students per family is $25.
(For example: If a family is sending 2 students the total cost would be $75. Scholarships are available if needed.)
